Mix and mingle with some of the Bay Area’s most talented creators and meet the team that makes the Zine Fest happen.
We will also be celebrating the launch of the Bay Area Comic Anthology (BACA) Kickstarter! BACA is a collection of comics about what it is like to live and breathe in the Bay Area – comics made in the spirit of collaboration by local comics creators.

The 14th annual San Francisco Zine Fest will be hosted at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park (1199 9th Avenue + Lincoln Way) on September 6th, 2015. As always, SF Zine Fest is a FREE event for attendees.
Over 200 creators will be featured in two huge exhibition halls. SF Zine Fest will host a community of writers, artists, and zinesters, ranging from individual DIY creators to nationally recognized small-press publishers. International, national and local creators based throughout the Bay Area will be exhibiting their work.
SF Zine Fest will host events in addition to the exhibition halls, including a spotlight on our special guest Madeleine Flores, creator of the beloved comic Help Us! Great Warrior. The SF Zine Fest Reading Room & Zine Library will also return this year. This collection of hundreds of comics and zines showcases some of the most talented creators featured at Zine Fests past and present. These books will be on display for attendees to view and read.

It is one of four major fashion weeks in the world, collectively known as the “Big 4,” along with those in Paris, London and Milan
The 2015 edition of Miami Beach builds upon the success of last year’s show, one of the strongest ever: Modern and contemporary artworks shown by 267 leading galleries from 31 countries were viewed by over 73,000 international visitors – with artists, collectors, gallerists, curators and art enthusiasts creating the excitement that makes this singular event a remarkable way to encounter art.
Palm Springs, CA (August 20, 2015) – Now entering its 27th year, The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) is scheduled from January 1-11, 2016. Its culturally diverse program of 200+ films from more than 60 countries represents the best in international cinema, with more than 135,000 attendees each year. The Festival presents a majority of the films submitted for consideration in the Best Foreign Language category for the Academy Awards, as well as a large number of American independent and international features and documentaries marking their world, North American or U.S. premieres.
The Festival will hold its annual star-studded black tie Awards Gala on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The Awards Gala will honor individuals in the film industry with awards for acting, directing, and lifetime achievement. Last year’s Festival honorees included: Robert Duvall, Alejandro G. InŽįrritu, Richard Linklater, Julianne Moore, David Oyelowo, Rosamund Pike, Eddie Redmayne, JK Simmons, Reese Witherspoon and the cast of The Imitation Game. Nine of the 10 honorees received Academy Award nominations.
Beginning Friday, January 1 and throughout the Festival, fifteen screens throughout Palm Springs will operate from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. The official Opening Night screening will take place on Friday, January 1 at 6:30 pm. The Closing Night screening will take place on Sunday, January 10th, and the Best of the Festival will screen all day on Monday, January 11th.
Presented by the Palm Springs International Film Society, the PSIFF is one of the largest film festivals in North America. The Festival has an attractive film sales and distribution record and is seen by American distributors as one of the best Academy Award campaign marketing tools. The Festival also features cultural events, filmmaker tributes, industry seminars and the annual black-tie gala award presentation.
