On Sunday, September 18, I was privileged to be in attendance at the ABOW Shop Til You Drop for One Mama! An event benefiting Siobhan Neilland’s organization One Mama, a nonprofit helping to make a difference in the world, Siobhan gives all of the profits from her fundraising events via ShaBoom Products, as well as her hand crafted collection items, and handmade clothing and dresses, to aid women and children in Africa. “Insipired by a Ugandan midwife, Mama Jamira, Siobhan found her calling helping people in desperate conditions empower themselves to create change. As she worked to help Mama Jamira’s community, her vision blossomed into creating an organization that encompassed no limits, servicing impoverished communities worldwide.” –Siobhan Neilland
Hosted by A Band of Wives founder Christine Bronstein and Director Leila Radan, the ABOW Shop Til You Drop for One Mama! brought together women and businesses from all of the San Francisco Bay Area to donate to the One Mama organization and its efforts to aid women, children and communities in Africa.
