2017 Sundance NEXT FEST presented by Sundance Film Festival kicked-off on Thursday, August 10th, with a special presentation by Acura of Sundance Institute’s Vanguard Leadership Award honoring Hollywood legend Quentin Tarantino. The award celebrates the innovation, originality, and independent spirit that the Feature Film Program has fostered in artists over its 30-plus year history. Feature Film Program Founding Director Michelle Satter presented Tarantino with the Award.
